About the Texas Aggie Conservatives The Texas Aggie Conservatives promote conservative ideologies and advance the conservative movement at the university, local, state, and national levels through a number of means including educating students and the public, advocating conservative fiscal and social policies, campus activism, offering camaraderie for conservative students, and campaigning for conservative political candidates. Since TAC is a categorized as a political organization by Texas A&M Student Activities, TAC does not receive funding from Texas A&M and must raise its own funds to support its active agenda. The Texas Aggie Conservatives were founded in April 2008 as a chapter of the Young Conservatives of Texas. The Young Conservatives of Texas at Texas A&M University became the Texas Aggie Conservatives in January 2010 after ending their affiliation with the Young Conservatives of Texas. The Texas Aggie Conservatives is not affiliated with any other organization.
